Hiya!

There's a load of vaporwave remixes of songs these days, and I don't know if you've ever listened to them, but all they do is slow the original track down and sometimes add reverb. They aren't particularly revolutionary, but it was something I explored with this track.

I made this track at 145 BPM, but with the intent of it being a normal house track. Usually house tracks are 120-130 BPM, so this was quite fast. After I'd finished the track, I slowed it down to 128 BPM, which lowered the pitch and gave everything a grainy sample-like quality. I really like the effect this gave, although it's in completely the wrong key to me, and it sounds way slower than it actually is.
